Collier Road Placemaking Strategy (Part of the Collier Road Multimodal Study)
The Collier Road Placemaking Strategy is a key component of the Collier Road Multimodal Study, conducted within Atlanta’s Upper Westside CID. The study’s primary goal is to explore alternatives for integrating a shared-use path along the 1.7-mile corridor to accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists. As part of this effort, JFG Cities led the development of a placemaking strategy that identified potential activation sites, proposed a range of placemaking interventions, and crafted a corridor brand that reflects the area’s historic and contemporary significance—particularly its industrial legacy.
